I go to the gym and I wanted something to protect my front seats after exercising. Yesterday I was walking down the aisle at Costco and saw WetSuit Seat Covers for $19.99. They only had gray colored seat covers. They are a universal fit and can fit on various car seats.

I decided to buy them (2006 Toyota Prius), and knew if they didn't fit I could bring them back. In the parking lot I put them on. It took about 25 minutes. After I was done I thought they looked great for $19.99.

The covers fit the seat well. The bottom seat cushion is very snug. The back part of the seat fit fine, but there is just a little extra material as seen in the pictures. They come with head rest covers, but they did not fit well.

The seat covers are waterproof, fit most bucket seats, side airbag compatible and are water resistant. For $19.99, they are a great way to protect your car seats. They can also be machine washed.

I'm a Costco fanatic and protecting the seats on my Prius sounds like a good idea. I might just have to pick up a set of my own. Thanks for the tip ;)

I'm curious how these seat covers feel after the sun's been beating on it for an hour in 90 degree heat? Will it be hot to touch?

We've had those covers on our Prius for a few months now. Not really impressed with the fit, but it's better than not having covers on as my wife lets our son eat breakfast in the car.

Mine seem to fit fine, with the exception I stated above. They are $19.99 and should work out fine for what I am using them for. A custom seat cover is more costly.

I hadn't seen this thread before now and posted it elsewhere, but if anyone is interested, these same covers are on sale at Costco for $15 right now.

I was able to get the head rest covers on (regarding the first post and being unable to get them on), but it was pretty hard and required a lot of effort as opposed to the seat covers which went on pretty easily. Once they were on, they fit fine, though.

One month update. The seat cover bottoms seem to shift on the seats. Every couple of days I need to reposition them. Yesterday, I went to the beach. I had sand all over me. Sat on the seats, and they were full of sand. When I got home, I pulled out my vacuum and the sand came right off. For the little I invested in them, they are well worth what I paid for them.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Personally, I prefer a shower.

I picked up a set a couple weeks ago and installed them last week (paid $20). I like the look of them quite a bit - I think it's cool to have some black in my car.

For whatever reason, I found the installation of the headrest covers to be very easy and straightforward. I removed them from the seats, put on the seat covers, applied the headrest covers, then placed the headrests back into the seats. It all went smoothly and I'm quite happy with the results (especially for a mere $20).

Thanks to the OP for pointing out this deal and posting pictures.

Not that I can find. Only a fraction of Costco warehouse items are available online. I'd say your best bet is to have a friend with a Costco card pick them up for you.

Do they make these for the back seat?

I shop at Costco regularly, and have not seen any covers for the back seat. You might need to resort to searching the web for such an item.

Thanks. I ended up getting an inexpensive dog cover for the back seat. We'll see if it's sufficient.

Going through CoverKing's website (Costco's site linked me through to them...) the cheapest I can find any seat cover is $170+... Wish we had a Costco near here... :(

I was just wondering how did they work with the heat...I have leather seats and even though their beautiful, they can be brutal with the sun? Thanks

I also have leather seats and I live in Arizona and was wondering how these did in the heat.

Almost bought these for $20 last time at Costco. Just wish they were all gray or all black. The lumbar support Costco also sells might pair well with these and provide a tighter fit if installed under the seat cover.
