I'm sure if you go sign in to Toyotas owner site you will see it has been done.:) I check mine after every visit.

this is pretty much my impression as well...

the only apparent change i notice is the battery level. before, it's usually at 2 bars from full, and rarely goes up, now I notice more 1 bar from full, even if it's only briefly.
the break may feels a bit differently, but it was in the middle of a snow storm so I can't be certain...

the fix took ~45 min, just as mentioned in toyota canada's recall letter. no sticker :)

and btw, http://www.toyota.ca seems down right now

Drivers side door jamb by the latch. It gets packing tape over it too.

I just checked, and found a yellow sticker saying the load carrying capacity was reduced by several lbs. Weird, I don't remember seeing this before. Is it the recall sticker?

Nah, my car has that sticker too. Something they did at port or before it went on the ship. No clue why it is there or what it really means.

I have also seen it on other Toyota's.

The door jam of my car only has the weight capacity reduced sticker but under the hood has a white sticker that has both this recall and a previous recall listed on it. It is towards the front of the hood on the right side.

I took my C in last week for its 20K mile service and today while washing my car I noticed a yellow decal attached to the door frame. It states that due to a modification the max weight limit has been lowered by 8 pounds. I was never told or asked about this modification. Tried calling the dealer this evening, but service was closed. Will call again Monday, but if anyone knows what was done to me C please advise!

I think if you skip lunch a few days this week, then you will loose 8 pounds and be alright [IMG]

My car also came with a weight reduction sticker in the door jamb from the factory.

I am pretty detailed when it comes to my cars, and I am pretty sure this was not there before?

No clue :( Maybe others will chime in after breakfast and see if they too have this sticker :) Guess you could quiz the service manager at your dealership. They might have a straight answer. Please share with us what you find out. I just know my car was ordered by me and I seen it the day after it got off the transport rig and there was that sticker :) My car had not gone thru clean up or anything yet so I doubt the service people got their paws on it yet. I have seen similar stickers on RAV4, Prius & Sienna rentals. I drive rentals more than my own cars [IMG]

Did the software update on my 2014 the day before our trip to SoCal. Dropped it off at City Toyota at 7am and they said it might not be done until 6pm!

But at about 11am I got the call that it was good to go! Yay me! And we encountered zero problems the whole trip, as expected.

    Stickers...

Campaign SSC-E0E requires the dealer to install a white "Authorized Modification" label approx 2"x4" on the underside of the hood, near the left side hinge. This label should include the current Power Management ECU part number (89681-*****), a 12 digit calibration ID number, dealer code, date the campaign was performed, and reason for the modification (E0E).

The yellow sticker on the driver's door jamb is a vehicle load capacity impact label. It shows how much the vehicle's rated load capacity has been reduced by a modification, such as the addition of accessories that were installed prior to delivery. These accessories include floor mats, cargo mats, running boards on vans & SUV's, etc...

8 lbs impact weight may be the floor mats. The floor mats may not actually weigh that much, but that may be the impact weight the dealer must list.

And, like people never noticing the security light flashing, the yellow sticker was almost always put on at the port, where many options are installed. In rare cases it's done at the dealer, though they don't like to install options.

The dealership I use seems more than willing to install options. They quoted me $113 to install fog lights even if I bought them online and brought them in. They even offered to install the horns I had sitting in my back seat when I took my Prius in to get my amp swapped out. As long as you pay the hourly charge, they seem fine with it.

I checked again and no such sticker. So much for the requirement...
