    For future PIP:
When the car arrives and stops at a GPS location where you normally charge it, it should just ask you, via voice, charge now or later. You say now or later (uses timer setting and voice verifies) or this clues you in to do what you want to do.
If this is too hard, I think that Toyota should just allow Entune to schedule a charge and for Entune to stay active for 1 minute after the car shuts off. A simple phone app could do this.

I agree that a fixed timer could make it easier to use off-peak power by only supplying power during certain hours. I've never used the Prius built-in timer, so I don't know if it will be active every day at the programmed time. Heavy-duty outlet timers are inexpensive and fairly easy to program, whether you choose the electronic type or the clockwork type. That way, you would never have to think about programming the charging time, it would automatically kick in after hours.

There must be a T-shirt somewhere that says "Support the petroleum industry, unplug a Prius" because I have found mine inexplicably unplugged at work on several occasions.

Are you using a L2 (ChargePoint, Blink, etc..) station or the OEM EVSE plugged into a 120v outlet?

Have you received permission from your employer to plug in? Maybe it's security personnel that don't know any better.

I made sure I had the boss's blessing beforehand. Now I park in a less conspicuous place, and run the cord from inside the building.
