My first fill-up in my 2014 Model 3 was a week ago today at 499 miles. I seriously considered driving around the block first, but resisted the urge. I still had 1 pip solid, but don't pass any convenient stations on my way to work and dislike stopping on the way home.

I don't think the dealership filled it all the way full though as I've not changed my driving and seem to be on pace for 550 miles on this tank...I should know in about 6 days.

I got several 600 mile tanks out of my '06 Civic Sedan MT, but it could hold 13.3 G(at least I could get that much in it).

    woohoo. 503.2

the single pip was blinking like crazy

does the single blinking pip ever go out?

Finally in on my 3rd tank. I would have made it on the 2nd, but we had a family road trip and didn't want to wake the kids by stopping to fill along the way. That trip brought my overall mileage down a bit as most commute days I can average 60mpg (indicated) or better. Won't be long before I get 600 miles.

    563 miles
    10.42 gallons (3rd click)
54.03 mpg actual (57.7 mpg indicated)

Went about 17 miles past "0" and the last pip was flashing for about 30 miles or so. Pretty sure that flashing pip never goes away...that would be bad if the last reminder stopped doing its job.

when it goes out it would basiclly saying "Get fuel now dumb SH%$"

My HHR when fuel was low IE DTE less than 20 mi. the driver info center would continuously scroll "Low Fuel" and bong at you. once every couple minutes basically annoying you until you fed it...kinda like a kid...

the Prius bong once and then just flashes...

I'm in training for the 600 miles club. Probably could have made it easily on this tank, but chickened out when it dropped to 1, non-flashing bar on the gauge. 9.2 gallon fill up, for 57.5 actual MPG:

My second 500 mile tank.. but best mpg ever for me for the miles on that tank.

For my route, I think that's about the best I can do without being dangerous. Traffic around here is just too fast.

I notice the best MPG's are in slow traffic that keeps on flowing. I never drive in conditions like that on my commute. Did that once in LA and MPG shot up!

    Filled up with 10.3 gallons.

I drive a 2010 Toyota Prius III with OE Yokohama Avid S33d A/S tires - which I call "HyperDrive 1" / "HyperDrive One".

My fuel efficiency from 3/06/2015 to 3/23/2015 = 56.0 mpg
over 583.4 miles using 10.401 gallons of 87 octane E10 regular gasoline.

My fuel efficiency from 05/27/2010 to 3/23/2015 = 59.4 mpg
    over 59033 miles

I have a 16 mile commute each way . In the morning my commute drops from 480 ft elevation to 330 ft elevation and in the late afternoon when I go back home my commute climes from 330 feet to 480 ft elevation. I designed my route so I don't have to go over 45 mph too often and where one can drive in a slow lane and where its easy to time your speed to traffic lights. . I often drive below the speed limit when nobody is around but I keep up with traffic when the traffic is heavy. I will often pick the slowest lane and drive at a speed that keeps pace with the pack. I try to anticipate stopping and allow the car to slow down before stopping (smart braking). My tire pressure are set near the max psi level front 44 rear 40 so - my Prius coast slightly father than normal... the lower part of my intake grill is blocked but the top part of my intake grill is open.

During the summer my commute going in is about 10 mpg more than coming home. For example, during the summer my commute going 16 mile going downtown gets about 68 mpg but my commute going home 16 miles going up will get about 58 mpg and my overall fuel efficiency is closer to 63 mpg for a round trip commute.. Doing the short trips that are under 5 miles one way lowers my overall fuel efficiency

Most of my commute is at speeds less than 40 mph but...I often get +55 mpg on the superhighway by varying my speed between 52 to 65 mph - accelerating on the downhill grade and allowing some deceleration on the uphill grades(gravity assisted accelerations). For example, today at 10 am I was driving on a superhighway called Washington DC Beltway ( I-495) from District Heights to Rockville, MD (west bound/outerloop). My Linear Logic Scangauge computed my fuel efficiency at 60 mpg while my speed was varying from 45 mph to 70 mph. . Officially the speed limit for I-495 is about 55 mph

wow! 59.4 calculated! Puts me to shame! Very ideal commute for a Prius.
