Sustained air flow (and thus supply of air from the source--the cabin--meaning not blocking the vents) is more critical than the temperature of the air. I do recall something though in the manual or one of the guides/cards suggesting that allowing the a/c to run or opening the windows was beneficial as well as say or implying that letting the air in the cabin get too hot wasn't so great an idea. Maintenance checks also suggest keeping an eye on the blower motor to ensure it's proper operation as well as being free of obstructions (not sure what schedule, but clearly it should always be clear).

Has anyone come across a see-through diagram of the battery ventilation system? I'm curious where the outlet is now so I can better understand its design and thus potential weak points and adjustments.

Ah, found one for Gen II: Battery vent fan | PriusChat

That should show you the post......if it really went.

And a big thanks to whomever has been policing the dupes and removing them lately.
