We're all here to help each other in getting the most out of our cars. Great bunch of people I've learned..
I saw your post with the Ebay ad in it. Those were the right ones. I didn't chime in because I saw StarCaller did. And he has a 2014. So I think its the seller you can't trust, not anyone here. :):) I hope. LOL.

You see how there's a little hoop on your mount and it ends up on top? Mine is clearly labeled L and R and the hoop ends up on the bottom. I'll swap the L with the R and turn it upside down tomorrow and see if I can close the hood using the top bolt again. If it does close, maybe by using the top bolt, it wouldn't touch the plastic parts anymore. And in that case, it is the right kit but mislabeled... just like the mislabeling in the instructions.

Or maybe the L goes to the right because it's the left when you're sitting in the driver's seat?! By why the F*CK would they label it L when the installation process requires the installer to be facing the car, not sitting in the car?!

Regardless, Burna J's pics still shows the bottom mount with the ball at the bottom. There's nowhere for mine to go except end up on top... and L definitely has to be on the left, and R on the right. This whole thing is messed up.

UPDATE: I just confirmed the underlined part again. There is absolutely no way to switch the L with the R. The top mounts, if reversed, would have the hoop on the bottom but the mounts for the bottom just won't fit with the headlights' screw in the way. There was absolutely no way to line up the holes to put the bolt in. It was like 1/8 of an inch off. That's not even remotely close. And the notch on the bottom bracket/mount can't slip under the headlights' bolt. I'm thinking maybe that notch was for that reason but there is just no way it would go in. The last thing I want is to cause misalignment with my headlights.

Sounds about right. Too bad I already installed it and didn't know better to return it. The mod is already done and pretty much "permanent" unless I replace the parts I made a mess out of all back to stock.

I’m sure you aren’t the only one who had a Wth moment with the L & R. I know I did. I think whoever made up the instructions must have been hitting the Sake hard the night before.

So is the Sokie dampers what most Priuschatters use, or are there other brands that are as popular?

It's the one to go with, direct bolt on & very easy to install. Took me 20 mins.

I received mine in the mail and didn't had the chance to install it due to the temp below 0 F here in illinois.

I would have if my car was Blizzard White, mine is the Classic Silver Metallic so black was the way to go. Cheers!

L & R on a car is always from the point of sitting in the driver's seat. Think about where the left front tire is??? Just because you are looking at it from the front of the car it's still the left front tire. ;)
