A premiere upcoming mainstream offering that is being pushed back a year because the new Cruze is a bigger product to GM.

Besides, why should scale matter when it comes to rumor quashing? It's hard to tell which little one will grow. The rumors of the NS4 being the next Prius started as soon as the former was unveiled. They still continue, and likely get mixed up with 60+mpg for the next Prius and 20miles EV for the PPI.

Since there is no such thing as a "fact" until after rollout takes place, everything else is a rumor. Ever notice how even official information changes anyway?

    It most certainly was.

I realize the effort is to keep things constructive. But reality is, that's not actually how the market operates.

So, we have no choice but to address the unsupported and ever-changing.

    It addresses purpose.

A niche vehicle is for praise.

A mainstream vehicle is for business-sustaining profit.

    $650/kWh speaks for itself.

Toyota worked extremely hard to deliver something cost-competitive. By sharing their already profitable platform, they are well prepared to take advantage of lithium prices dropping.
