    Plastic lenses huh... :(

    I like my foglights to be yellow for better poor weather visibility, if I ever get these LED foglights I'll put some yellow/amber laminex vinyl film over the lenses. That will help protect the plastic lenses from rocks.

    It's been a busy weekend.....Friday started with the purchase of a new front lip during an extended lunch break :) & ended with new 17" tires for the CT wheels.

    Sat I dropped of the wife & daughter at Disneyland & made my way over to NDzPII house. It was a all day event. I installed a beat sonic rear view camera, etrailer hitch wiring harness. Then came the 3 door SKS mod on his 2012 Prius II

    Meet his wife, 2 kids, 2nd brother, brother-in-law......very nice family.

    Sunday I drove back home & changed the air & cabin filters.

    I guess... I don't mean to criticize, but it just looks unappealing to to have that under there.. The mpg gains can't be worth having it there.... But, to each is own.. If you love it it's all that matters!

    XM/Sirius will always be unaffected by these antenna changes. I believe their antenna is separate.

    Thanks to Blizzard Brigade #164 on Saturday he installed the beat sonic rear view camera, etrailer hitch wiring harness and the 3 door SKS mod on my 2012 Prius II. I tell you, its nice to walk up to my trunk with groceries (okay a 12pk of beer) and just unlocking without having to 1st go to the drivers door. I spent Sunday just washing my Prius and detailing the inside.

    Finished installing $35 back up camera, it was harder then it looked and very time consuming with lots and lots of panel removal which has led to sore finger tips, and lots of wiring and electrical hazard which led to a minor electrocution! Write up coming soon, for now here's a peak.

    I'm sure I was getting lots of looks.

    I would have just put them in the back but I also needed 2 pick up my daughters from school so I grabbed the hitch carrier.....worked out great. :)
