    for around $5 off of ebay I wrapped my wheel in faux leather...some places in the back are a bit loose (which I'm going to redo the sewing this weekend), but all in all, it looks a little bit nicer (and the color sorta matches w/ interior) and feels so much better now, hopefully it lasts against the summer sun. but can't go wrong with $5.

    added a k&n filter yesterday. This and my exhaust have really boosted my performance and mpg. I also noticed those times where I'm just gliding with the gas off seem to be more frequent and elongated. combined these two mods cost me $150 and it is so damn worth it. Injen intake, I'm looking at you next :sneaky:.

    pray for me guys, I feel a BOATing coming on this weekend (bust out another thousand) :ROFLMAO:

    I just bought some light grey Clazzio leather seat covers with heating elements for both driver/passenger. Also, bought a roof rack, bars and braces. I'll post pics here once its all installed.

    Nice, can't wait to see the seats put in. I'm not overly concerned with my interior but it's one thing I definitely wanna do (y)

    vinyl wrap on the grill. the dude thought it would look cleaner if he didn't go right over the square cut out on the left and I was skeptical but I just let him go for it. I really liked the result, up close it looks very clean. I'll post better pics when I can get a car wash :coffee: also, rear spoiler! :D now, about those tail lights...

    I did the same thing. My vinyl went around the tow hook cut out.

    Car looks great with the new upgrades!

    got the spoiler from microimage. who has Japanese OEM parts just lying around in the right color? :ROFLMAO: just drove by and picked it up, I'm lucky to be near it!

    i really want that spoiler, looks soo nice!

    i added a kn air filter to the C. drove about 50 miles, but havent realized any benefit or loss so far. hoping for benefits.

    Regarding mpg changes, how has non low rolling resistance tires affected the mpg? I'm looking at going to 16s after my stock tires go bald, but I've heard there aren't good options for 16" LRR tires

    Why not a black roof instead of white? The white makes it look like the adhesive vinyl used to protect the car during transport

    Didn't want to do black because it attracts sunlight/heat. White will do the opposite. Not sure how noticeable of an effect, but I'm not trying to do anything to make the car hotter inside.

    With that said, I'm undecided on how it looks. I'm waiting for the dip to cure for a few more days. I may go to an actual vinyl instead of dip.

    No checkerboard. Haha. It's been a few days... I think I'm going to peel the dip off and go with vinyl. I'm leaning towards a carbon fiber wrap on the roof.

    Here are the completed images, post install. I'm working out some of the remaining wrinkles, but it should look nice and tight when I'm finished. I took it to an installer and he thought it was OEM when he sat in it. This is installed in a 2012 Prius C One which before I purchased, I couldn't find an image of anywhere with leather installed.

    These things suck nice person to install solo, but it can be done.

    I'll be installing the heating element connections/switches tonight and will document the project as I go. Here are the draw specs for the different switches they offer per Metra tech support:

    IBHS1 SINGLE SWITCH KIT
    LOW @14 v 1.63 22.82 w
    HIGH @14 v 5.03 70.42 w

    IBHS1-XL SINGLE SWITCH KIT
    LOW @14 v 1.99 27.82 w
    HIGH @14 v 6.13 85.85 w

    IBHS2 VARIABLE SINGLE SWITCH KIT
    Position #0 @14 v 0.09 1.26 w
    Position #5 @14 v 5.03 70.42 w

    IBHS3 VARIABLE DUAL SWITCH KIT
    Position #0 @14 v 0.03 0.42 w
    Position #5 @14 v 4.36 61.04 w

    I'll be splicing both the driver and passenger side PWR wires together and running them to the dedicated heated seat fuse by the passenger side of console. The fuse is able to handle up to 15AMP which is more than enough if both seats are running on HIGH (10.06 AMP). To do this, I'm using one of these ADD-A-FUSE adapters:
