I want to lower my 2010 Gen III but I'm not sure where I should take it. Currently residing in Sacramento, CA. I need both parts and labor. I haven't purchased anything yet but I'd like to go about 2-3 inches lower on springs or coil-overs. I'm not afraid to have a little rougher ride, I prefer the look over comfort. Every single vehicle I've owned has been lowered at some point.

I'm new to the forum and new owner of a Prius (1 month so far) but have been monitoring this site for a few days. It's really given me ideas for modifications.

Any suggestions or offers are appreciated!!

You've got to be kidding, any lower and you'll start killing all the ants! Not to mention destroying the under part of your front bumper lip on any and all bumps.

Welcome 2 to the forum & congrats on ur new Prii.

I personally would recommend coilovers vs springs. I went with H&R's & now I'm on Tein coilovers.

If u were closer I could do the install for u.

I really like the look of your car. I'm strongly considering coilovers. Thanks for the welcome, happy to get any kind of advice!

Im on H&Rs now and I dont like the ride at all. Ive had several lowered cars, but this rides worse than any Ive had. It feels uneven when hitting bumps. Do the coilovers ride better than H&Rs?

yes. the stock struts/shocks are not valved for lowering springs so they don't damping the bumps where the coilovers are.
