image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg I've been looking for additional luggage space on my 2012 Prius V and I found it with the addition of Thule Aero Blade Roof Rack (model#ARB53), Thule 690XT MOAB Cargo Basket. The basket is pretty big bulky but, it will hold all my camping gear and some more stuff. MPG will be affected for sure but, I figure it's got to be better than my old full size Chevy Silverado that I used to own. I purchased all the items from Rack Outfitters.com Pricing was the best, no sales tax, free shipping, great customer service.

I have the same Thule Aero racks on my 2013 prius v. Did you find that the front rack is significantly lower than the rear rack when mounted the specified 12" from the edge of the windshield? I e-mailed Thule support about this and they said they could not recommend moving the rack more than 1" from the specified spot. I moved the front rack back 1" (13" from windshield) and that helped some, but the racks are still not level. Except for that I like the racks. The Aero design seems to minimize wind noise very well. So far I've just used them to haul some 2x6 lumber, but I have cargo box that will be used next time we go camping.
