even with my standard horns installed, I am only able to honk like 1 second at a time/
I can repeat that right away, but longer than the 1 sec thing - nada/
I know that people experienced the same with aftermarket horns, but I thought with the regular horns I could honk pretty much as long as I want/
neone here with a 2014 model willing to go out & give that a shot?

My horn stays on as long as I want. I like the sound of it BTW. Now I want to honk at everyone - while waving and smiling (of course).

Are your horns stock, or upgraded?

Yes. I've neither altered nor added anything to my Prius. Toyota has done an adequate job IMO.

I have the aftermarket PIAA horn. It's louder then stock. Didn't want to go with air horn since it is hook up with my Viper alarm. Air horn after awhile it need to recharge.
