I've been selling the Rav4 EV like crazy (huge demand rise in the past 14 months), and really love this car.
I commute in one. Put 27K+ on mine the first year of ownership.

The Fuel cell car will be sold next year, and will require a pretty extensive qualifying process to ensure everyone who chooses it will be able to manage the fill ups and be close enough to a station long term to make sense. Yes, I know a lot about this car. And, am about to learn more as the months pass.

I'll be the logical choice for this car as well as the go-to person. The Rav4 EV came out about 2.5 years ago, and since they arrived in dealerships, I have sold over 400 of those. Most of those 400 were sold in the last 18 months. Once the Unlimited mileage lease was offered, with all of that lease cash on the hood, this became a very special car to me. :)

We have a special EV forum, a Facebook page/site for owners, and have formed a very lovely community of owners. I sense the hydrogen car will be much the same.

Charles, you're right but for one thing: I'm part of "sales" in the sense that I do sell cars (and plenty of 'em), but I am also the fleet director of this very large dealership... and in the inventory sense, I practically run things as far as inventory goes... so I have a bunch of knowledge about cars coming and plans as far as what we are told. You're right in that I can't share a lot of the information I know or find out... and even when you guys post stuff that's crazy, I can't say anything publically. :cautious: Drives me crazy to leave mis-information out there publically, but damn.... rules be rules!

I remember the good old days (not that long ago) when Carson was selling at $1K-2K below MSRP. Glad I bought then! :)

Dianne, how are out of state purchases handled? Though I'm not ready to buy another car just yet, the plug-in prius is sadly not available for sale in Wisconsin, so when I am ready to buy one, I'll most likely have to buy out of state. Do you deliver (and if so, how much does it cost), or do I have to fly out to Cali to pick up the car? (road trip!)

Also, does the PiP require any special training when I take it in for maintenance, since I'm sure the WI Toyota dealers probably don't see PiP's too often if at all, or are they essentially the same as the other priuses?

I've had several local dealerships offer the Prius PiP base at $26,xxx from TrueCar pricing (that's with the $3k rebate from Toyota, ADD $1K IN IF YOU WANT THE 0%).

I'm waiting for the 2015 models and the eventual 2014 clearance.
