Well, later today I'll be picking up the first new car I've owned in more than 25 years. A 2014 Sea Glass Pearl Prius IV with the solar package. Here are some pics I took yesterday at the dealership as it was sitting in the lot. Hopefully they'll take the plastic off the seats. Reminds me of the furniture in my ol' Aunt Edna's house. Will post some of the car once I've actually "got it in my hands".

Congrats on your beautiful car! !!!. Great choice. I share your excitement. I've owned many cars in my life but I think I have been the most excited over the two prius' s I've owned. Both 2012's. The first one a three level and my current one a level five. I just love seeing a Prius going down the road. Congrats again on a beautiful car.

Picked up the car yesterday afternoon, and have to say in all my years of driving this car has been the most interesting experience of all. Appreciate all the nice comments. The color is one that has to be seen in person. Really nice, and it wasn't my first choice, but I changed after seeing a Prius V (station wagon) in the same color scheme. I'll post a comprehensive review and more photos in the next few days. Have a busy weekend ahead, not to mention a bit of driving... ;)

I've not seen that color yet. Is it a metallic paint? I ask because "metallic" is not in its name.

It doesn't appear to be metallic, although it appears to have that sort of "sheen" to it. It's one of those colors you have to see in person. I saw it in the Prius brochure and it didn't do much for me, but when I saw a Prius V I thought it was quite impressive.
