    Hey everyone,

Pretty new to the priuschat forum. We just picked up a Prius v a little over a month ago and wanted to slowly start doing some mods. II jumped at the chance and I can tell you that it was definitely the right move. I was really impressed with the overall look and function of the Valenti lights. They are really bright and so simple to install. I like how they look at night with the insides lighted up. It gives these lights a 3D look and they stand out as a quality piece. I like how different they look from the stock lights and how they improve visibility for safety. So if anyone needs to sell this idea to your other half, you can say it's a safety issue. Hah!.. Well I'll post up the video, please excuse the amateur videography and my dated video camera. Thanks.

Thanks Kazoku, liking them a lot so far.

Some people wanted better photos of the fitment of the lights so I'm posting a few more pics. Hope this helps. Thanks

Can you show a shot from the side, with the stop lamps illuminated daytime and the running lights illuminated nighttime. Thanks.

Improved side visibility is the key, IMO, and very desirable. Just focusing on that.

Is that half a log a parking aid? I use a tennis ball on a string.

Yes, thanks. Much better than OEM marker light sideward visibility. Same for the amber turn signals?

    Awesome tail lights!

I couldn't wait to install them. It was pretty easy thanks to the excellent video posted by lilandagi. I cannot stress enough the warning of being careful with the nuts during removal and installation. I made it through the removal and all the way to the last nut of the installation when madness struck. The LAST nut on the topmost mount (Left/Passenger side) slipped from between my fingers and bounced around in the body and away from my clutches forever. This location is the toughest to get your hand to AND it was made more difficult since due to the location I was using my off hand. At any rate, after several OMGs and cuss words. I tried several different ones from the hardware store I finally found the right metric nut to replace it (See pic. ).
You'll likely need a washer as well since the nut is a lot smaller than the OEM one.

Here's some pic of the smoke variant installed on my Blue Ribbon Metallic v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon, not an uppercase). IMG_1598.JPG IMG_1600.JPG IMG_1603b.jpg IMG_1608.JPG

So far I'm very pleased with how they look and function

Looks great and congrats!!! The smoke really compliments the color and wheels well. I'm still really happy with my lights as well. I'm glad the video helped you out some. Looking forward to you posting more of your mods on here too.

IMG_0486.JPG IMG_0487.JPG Received mine. Very simple install. I wedged a rag in the gap between the interior and exterior panels in case I dropped any of the nuts.

Here are a couple pics, not the best, but will take more once the weather warms up and I clean some of the salt off the car.

    They are VERY bright!

Looks great! Smart idea on the wedged rag. That would've saved me some time and cuss words =) Have you seen the 2015 v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon, not an uppercase) yet? They changed the headlamps which I like for the LED DRL bar, but the change to the front mask looks a little weird, like there's a part that looks too long. At any rate they also changed the tail lights which are better than the previous OEMs but not as stylish as the Valenti's. Overall I still prefer my 2013 body to the 2015. Check out link below.

Thanks for this thread! I was able to install both in about 15 minutes after watching the video. Very happy with how they look. image.jpg image.jpg
