I chopped of it bit at top to make it U rather than O, boy its tight space to get O connection with having to remove the whole screw. U was just slide in tightened it :)

Nice, I wish I had know about them earlier, it would pain to get them out and exchange for OEM Denso, do let me know.

By the way where did you mount Denso ballasts ? behind those plastics shields which is shown in the xenonsupply's video ?
Also, from where did you get the high capacity relays ?, does TRS have them ?
I am OK with morimoto ballasts, but definitely HIDs on my Previous car TSX's where definitely better, not sure if it is due to these ballasts or Prius's projectors design is like that.

Just a word of advise.......the Denso ballasts are not water proof. I strongly recommend getting them potted to make them water proof

Thanks for the advice, guess I will just stick with Morimotos, potting might void the warranty from TRS :)

TRS might even offer it as a option

Yes, TRS sells the dual relays, they're really nice.

TRS sells the TSX projector lenses as an upgrade. They'll improve your output might even sharpen the cutoffs. But you have to bake your headlight housings to open them up.

I mounted it against the body panel on the other side of the plastic. These "OEM" ballast are bigger than most aftermarket ones so I was unable to mount it on the plastic itself. Yes, these are not waterproofed so need to be very careful. TRS do sell the high capacity relays and can also waterproof the OEM ballasts for you, at a cost.

When I first purchased the kit I opted for standalone Canbus, thinking that's the better option but it's not. It draws power directly from the original headlight plug and it wasn't enough. I couldn't get them to fire reliably, the relay worked very well for me. I haven't tried any aftermarket kits prior to this so I can't comment on whether the output is better than Morimotos. They seem to get high praise from around here so I think you should be fine.
