I am having all of the above warning lights after pushing the power button. The engine does NOT start. All of the 12v systems appear to be working.

I just reconditioned the HV battery using instructions on this forum because of a P0A80 code. I replaced one of the modules with one from eBay. I ran all of the cells through three discharge/charge cycles as per instructions. I load tested them, equalized them, discharged them slightly, and all was well with the HV battery before reinstalling it into the car. I replaced the 12V battery as well. I also removed the HV fan to clean it, and put it back together.
There are no ODBII scan codes reported. If I "clear codes" (using EngineLink with Iphone), then the word "Problem" appears on the screen for a few seconds, but all of the other lights remain. I can view the HV voltage for each pair of modules in ODBII, and they appear fine (15.81 to 15.88 volts). State of Charge is 59%.
I have checked all of the electrical connections around the HV battery.

Other background... Engine Oil is fine. The car was running fine other than the P0A80 code, which I was able to clear using ODBII with no problem before the HV reconditioning.

I have searched google, but the only results for the "Problem" light had to do with engine oil levels or brake fluid levels.

    Please help.

Be sure to check that the Orange Safety Plug is installed correctly. This seems to be the #1 problem after working on HV battery.

As for the Engine Link, have you configured the PID's to read the HV battery trouble codes. Engine Link only reads standard engine and emission codes unless you add the PID's to read the HV codes.

I plugged and unplugged the orange safety plug several times. It slid in naturally, and I raised the lever to the straight up position. There was no "snap" or anything, but it pulled itself into the socket as I raised the lever.
Which HV codes should I look for? Anything with HV in front? I see things like: (HV) SOC, PwrOut, PwrIn, OutReq, VB, IB, BeforeBoost, AfterBoost, Current, BattAir, Power, Block1..14 (which I am already using), FanV, Charge, Discharge, FanSpd, BattT1..T3, Blocks, BattLow, BattHigh, BattTempHigh, HiMH Delta, HVB MinV, Min#, MaxV, Max#.

    1. When you insert the orange traction interlock, you pivot the lever 90 degrees. Then you slide it down to lock in place.
    2. Get Mini VCI to read the logged DTC, if #1 above does not help.

Aha! I did the 90 degrees (up), but not the vertical down with click. Perfect. I am so relieved. And I thank you for the extra description at the end. "Then you slide it down to lock in place."

Both of you guys were right (orange plug), and I thank you for the quick reply, as I needed to get to work in a few minutes.

I have a followup question on the Mini VCI. At Amazon there are ten to pick from. Is there a latest, best, most authentic to buy?

Here is the thread where I posted info on the one that I got from Amazon. It has worked fine so far on my Gen 2 ('05), and was a big help when I repaired the AC system. As far as I know none of them are authentic, which is why they are so cheap. I believe the authentic one is something like $800. So there is always a bit of risk, but the financial impact is pretty limited. I also figured buying from a source that was fulfilled by Amazon, chances of being able to return if needed were pretty good. The biggest difference between sellers seems to be the version of the software that they supply (although it could just be that some haven't updated their ad). I'm not sure the version matters as much for a Gen 2, but my goal was to get the latest version I could.
