I'm new to Prius! Have a Transportation Business, way to go 'get Prius'. Just got a 2009 Prius with 16,000 mile on it. It came with a little dent in front by the Inverter. Toyota Dealer want $8,200 for new Inverter / Converter. I found a new one on E-bay Dealers item for $1500. I need to REPLACE THE INVERTER. I can't find any Video on the internet. My biggest problem now is those Main Plugs will not move after unscrewing them. Please Help.

I can find many battery rebuild videos but no engine, transaxle, or inverter removals (inverter removal is part of the engine or transaxle removal).

You can probably buy a used inverter for ~$300 or so on eBay; not much demand for used parts since they are highly reliable.

See techinfo.toyota.com which is Toyota's subscription website for factory repair manual info.
