    Hey friends,

Front wheel bearing on my 2011 prius on going out on the passengers side.

Seems early for that to go out at 57000 miles. Is this covered under the 60000 mile powertrain warranty?

    Powertrain warranty below.....

"Drive Train Warranty: In some cases the drive train warranty continues after the basic (36000/3 year) warranty has expired. This part of the warranty covers most of the parts that make the vehicle move, including the engine, transmission, drive axles and driveshaft. Like the basic warranty, consumable parts such as hoses and belts are not covered. However, most of the internal parts of the engine, such as the pistons and bearings, which are also subject to wear and tear, are covered by the drive train warranty."

Any confirmation on if this is covered or if Ill have to pay out of pocket or not?

    Thanks!

I once owned a 2007 Saturn Redline Ion and Saturn replaced both front wheel bearings under the 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty.
One was at 55,000, the other was at 65,000
I noticed a few years later GM no longer covered wheel bearings in their powertrain warranty (I would guess 2010)

Ask if they are going to replace the pair of bearings, right and left.
I replaced my right front last month with 153K on it. Last weekend I replaced the left front with 154k.

    Those problems come in pairs.

How hard was it to replace the front wheel hubs. I have replaced one of the rears and it was pretty easy. Do you know of any good instructions, hints or videos to help with front or any specific gotcha's ?
