Is it me or did Toyota move the steering wheel to the left on the 2015 ? it no longer seems centered to the driver seat or maybe the door is wider than my older '10 model or it could be me. In that case call me a ----- and go to the next post

From your description, you are not speaking of the 'rotational direction' ( or whatever the correct term is)

Lean forward in your seat, have a good look at 'where' the steering column comes out from the dash. Do you see it come out of the dash slightly 'from the right'? It's the same as your 2010 Prius. It could also be that the seat is not mounted exactly inline with the steering wheel. Either way, they are not inline.

Hold the wheel at 9 and 3 o'clock, your left hand will be slightly farther away than your right. The (front to back) centerline through the seat is NOT exactly parallel with that of the steering wheel (column).

Check out the all-new Corolla, same thing. Have a look at any current VW Passat, it is really OFF. Some cars have this 'trait', but I don't care for it even if 'engineering constraints' caused it. I've never seen this sort of thing in any Civic or Accord fwiw.

"Constraints" = compromises. Or engineering errors, to put it less charitably.

That might be why I seem to have difficulty parking the Prius parallel to the lines defining a space. When it appears parallel from the driver's seat, the front end of the car often ends up too far to the left. In other words, the steering wheel is aligned in the space, but the rest of the car is not. I've never had that problem parking any other car, but then I never had another with misaligned steering wheel in the sense you describe.

I have a 2012 Prius PHV and I can tell you the steering wheel is not centered wit the driver's seat. However, several things don't quite match in the Prius. Has anyone noticed how the entire center console and center arm rest are closer to the driver than the passenger. Yet the air vents are in the center of the car. So the vents and the nav screen seem to be offset from one another. In the previous generation the dash board pretty much everything about the cabin was very symmetrical. This generation is the complete opposite and I have to say it is one of my favorite design features of the car. If you look closer, you will notice that the nav screen is tilted just a bit toward the driver. Also, the far right section of the instrument cluster looks to be right in front of the passenger from the drivers point of view. However, seat in the passenger seat and it looks far away, not at all in front of the passenger.

I have not noticed this on any toyota products as of yet but I will say a couple people in my family have GM trucks and suv's where the steering wheel is completely wonky. Sitting straight forward in the seat the left side of the steering wheel is almost centered with your chest. You have to sit in the seat sideways to drive the stupid things.
