    You came out okay. I think having the dealer do it was the best way to go.

    Well I suppose it was for me.

    As a full blooded American Male, I admit I'm somewhat embarrassed. I check in from time to time with the "What Have You Done To Your..." thread.

    I see all the fantastic mods and updates people do. Everything from suspension adaptations, to stereo head unit replacements...and other modifications so complicated even with a series of full color pictures attached I'm often not even sure what they are doing but the end result is always something really cool.

    Somehow I feel like I should be able to put in a new mirror.

    But...not feeling adventurous in retrospect of recent events. So goodbye $50....hello brand new mirror.

    If you think the mirror problem you had was stupid, just get a load of my screw up and you won't feel bad at all. Very shortly after I bought a new Avalon Hybrid XLE Touring that I like very much I made a U turn and did not clear the curb I was going to park against and curbed the bottom of my bumper. NOW THAT IS STUPID.
