I have an 2012 Prius C 2 with about 42,000 miles on it. I think KBB.Com has it worth about $10,000.

I usually keep my car in till it is worth nothing. I am thinking is is worth it to trade in my car now while it is worth something?

I know the Prius C has not changed since it was introduced. Also, the Prius C is based on the Yaris. I know the next Yaris will be built by Mazda in Mexico. What will happen to the Prius C when this happens? Also, I am debating on getting another Prius C or just wait for a new Yaris. Thoughts on this.

it's a great time to trade, with the high used values and all.

I have to have some body work done first. I owe about $1000. I may wait for the next Yaris to come out. What you think?

It isn't a question of car being built in Mexico. It's a question of do you trust Mazada to maintain quality.

If you usually keep cars for longer, why get rid of the c now?
All the Toyota hybrids hold their value well, and c will hold it better when gas prices go back up.

I'd wait for the next Yaris and Mazada2. If the Toyota badged Mazda doesn't the full, or any, of the SkyActiv suite, then the 2 will probably be the better one to get.
