    hi all,

Is it possible to buy the touch navigation and entune screen as well as the voice command button (used) and install them on the car.

did anybody do this before ? does it need any modifications on the car's software ?

i have a prius c 2 with standard audio display

I don't know if you can, but I would spend my money on an aftermarket unit. The built in system is good but for the same money you can get a much better product. You could check ebay for the OEM navigation unit but not sure where you would get the buttons. Not sure if there is any wiring issues you may run into. Someone may have more details as to what you need to accomplish your goal. Good luck

I got everything research and working (Sat, Backup Camera, GPS) but I didn't ever bother with voice command changes as I never use it in my BMW too.. I know Rolopr is doing that and I gave him the wiring diagram to him.

Yes, a used C3/4 radio will work in a C2. just need to tap into 3 wires on the harness. It took me 1 months to get everything figure out but I am glad to help anyone here. I am using GPS and listening to XM radio daily now.

I leave the existing C2 Steering wheel control alone and the Disp and Trip on the right never had issue. You don't really need to replace the right side do you? You just need the Voice Control on the left... Perhaps you loosen something when you take the wheel apart?

Must have to replace both sides since the plugs from the one on the PC3/4 pads are different from the PC 1/2 ones in order for the voice command works.

I sold my 2012 Prius C and bought a 2010 regular prius, but i guess this thread can still be useful.
Thanks for all the replies, highly appreciated

Fix steering wheel pads, now everything works on the pads 100%.

In order to use it on the PC 1/2 you need at least the left pad that have the voice command button.

    1. Remove everything ( including the black buttons shown) from the left pad pf PC 3/4 leaving only the voice command and bluetooth buttons (pad).

    2. Disconnect the board of the removed pad and replace it on the existing pads of PC 1/2. (see that have 3 black buttons, PC1/2 only has 2 buttons)

    3. Remove everything on the left pad on the PC 1/2 (without VC button) - 3 bolts only and installed on the PC 3/4 pad now (with VC button).

Activate first the Bluetooth and cancel, then push the voice button for a few tries until the HU recognize it.

Yep ebay a while ago, search: prius c oem steering wheel.

Remember you need the left pad complete only. If you get both eee keep the other one as a backup if the existing pad is scratched :)

Did you need to install an additional antenna to get the GPS to work? I have a 2 and just purchased an OEM navigation headunit from a 4. From what I've read, it's essentially plug and play. I do NOT want voice command. I can not stand repeating myself. I am just wondering about needing an antenna for the GPS.

Yes, you need and GPS Antenna for navigation purpose only, you can get it on Ebay, same as I do, even you can buy the Sirius XM antenna too (I don't need it since most of the time I used Itunes Radio :) )

    I bought this one:
Toyota Car Navigation Units GPS Antenna 09 | eBay

You need to trim the lower edges, in order to plug in to the radio.

Where did you run the wire and mount it at? Trying to keep it looking clean.
