Roy uses a higher charge rate of 5amps to a capacity of 7500 mah (7.5 AH). I told you to charge at 2 amps (2000 ma) to a capacity of
9000 mah. The reason for charging at the lower rate "2 amps" is because at the higher rate of 5 amps there is much more possibility of overheating and swelling of the modules. Roy is experienced with this and knows what to keep an eye on trouble wise. As a beginner you should take the charging process slowly or you could do more harm than good.
The modules have what is known as a nominal voltage of 7.2 volts (1.2 volts for each of the six cells inside). This voltage varies with the amount of charge in thew module. When it is discharged it will be around 6 volts, but fully charged it will be over 8 volts.

I assume here you are talking about the maximum current when the battery is in use in the car.
I have no hard data for the ZVW30 battery but I believe it to be 120 amps max discharge, and 80 amps max charging. This would be for short periods of time when accelerating, and braking.

I did the same and was reading 7200 Ohm. I am using a 5kOhm resister in place and it works fine.
