It's the price from Toyota's website when "building" a car, not one dealership passing it.

I'd say get the Blizzard Pearl, it sparkles real nice under the sun and street lights. (Not that I'm biased or anything!!) lol!! ;)

My second choice would be silver, then sea glass pearl, then winter grey, then black....I owned a few black cars back to back. Done with that non sense. Haha!!

Your TrueCar pricing is high. Try a different ZIP code. I use 90703 for a Prius II show me 21.175 + tax is what come out your pricing. So it isn't a deal. Just wait if you don't need a car

A few years ago, someone wrote on this forum that Blizzard Pearl is hard to color-match, if you need to have body work done. Since then, I've seen some examples of this. I have 2: a 2010 Black, and a 2014 Sea Glass Green. The Black was a bad idea. The Green is good; hides the dirt, and a little cooler on hot days.

Narrow down to the color(s) that appeal TO YOU. No amount of 'it hides the dirt' is going to matter if the color doesn't appeal to you,

Do you like neutral (?) colors? Black, White, Silver, Gray

or do you prefer colors, Red, Blue, Green?

We went to their yard and I saw all those dark color so freaking dirty and with the same thick dust on it, the lighter color like the Bp,silver and sea glass pearl does not even look dirty just a little bit,

I would not buy from other state. Once you buy it there. You have to transfer the plate back to your state which probably cost a lot. You should try different ZIP in the same state. Not all dealers are member of Truecars.com

I'd be leery of buying a Prius in a non-CARB state because of the reduced warranty. In border areas car dealers can be licensed in both states. For example, I would expect a dealer in Philadelphia, PA to hold a NJ dealer license. The parent company may even hold Toyota franchises in both states.

Use the truecar.com price in your negotiations. You know where you can buy the car for that amount so is there a compelling reason to pay more for the same car elsewhere? The best deal doesn't always mean the lowest price.

I don't pay extra for paint, badging, or wheels. You are going to see the color of the car every day. Buy the color you like even if it is a bit more. That little extra spread over the life of the car is next to nothing.

Every time I go in for service involving tire rotation, I now choose to remove each wheelcover and keep it at home, BECAUSE last year Piercey Toyota cracked one wheelcover and I had to return to the dealer (20 miles one way) and be given a new one.

Wanna know what's not fun? Prying each wheelcover off which involves getting the wheelnut wrench and also moving the car a foot here and there to get the pry slot in the right position.

But, hey Toyota, rock on with your spring tensioned wheelcovers that, btw, scratch the paint on the original alloy wheels. Yay

I sense that we're straying from the subject.

I prefer red or blue or sea glass pearl or anything other than black, white silver or gray.

    Thanks for asking!
