Can I disable Nav in my 2006?

    I don't enjoy seeing the disclaimer every time I turn on the car... I'd much rather it default to trip info or audio or something -- can I do that or somehow disable nav (which I never use anyway)? :)

    I leave my mfd on info and it doesn't ask about the disclaimer. if that doesn't work for you for some odd reason, you might try pulling the nav disk out of the drive (under driver's seat). expensive choice would be to buy a lockpick if they still sell em.

    Hmm I will try leaving it on info next time and see if that helps... thanks!
    I tried taking the nav disk out but the eject button didnt seem to work. Is there a trick to getting it to spit out the disk? Is it possible that there is no disk in there and the Nav still runs?

    I think the disc has the map on it so w/out disc it wouldn't work. I've never taken my nav disc out so I don't know how to do it.

    You were totally right! If I set it to info or climate before turning it off, it starts back up in that screen instead of Nav! Thank you!!!
