What can be expected and is required at the 10K service mark?

You did get an owners manual, right ?
It's all in there; what is REQUIRED at least.

Oil change, tire rotation and multi-point inspection........all for no charge.

If they find anything that needs to be done that you must PAY for, be VERY skeptical.

They don't need to do anything that's not in the book. However, they might try to sell you new air filters, so I always check mine myself. If they need changing and I don't feel like making a trip to get one, I might let them do it, but I haven't gotten to that point yet.

A code check should be part of the "inspection" but I'm not sure.
Mine goes in next week. I will ask if I remember.
Pretty sure that battery tests are not done routinely.......ever.

I would think it would be too especially considering how technical this car is. Let me know what they do.

I am a little disappointed with the responses mostly being "check your manual". I could have done that and not posted anything here. I was wanting real life experience feedback. Maybe no one knows what they actually did??

I bet that most people don't......but that "most" people who are active on here probably DO.
I intend to mark my tires to see if and how they are rotated too.

As for the RTFM comments, this is a VERY heavily used forum.
It is hard to keep up with all the posts.
HALF of your original question could have been answered from the book.

If EVERYBODY who comes here asked about things found in the book.........the forum would be unmanageable........because it would be the same thing over and over and over.

The comments were NOT a personal jab; just a friendly suggestion.

Mark the oil filter to see if that was changed too. How would one know if the correct oil was used?

    There is a line.
Everybody has to decide where to draw it.

I try to figure the odds of them screwing something up.
Not rotating tires and not putting in the proper amount of oil seems to crop up all the time so I check those things.

I also try to check the air pressure in the tires BEFORE leaving the lot.......because a lot of shops seem go have monkeys working there that blindly pump them up to the MAX on the sidewall without even asking.
