    I have a 2015 Prius 3.

IWhile listening to the radio and having the audio screen showing. Is there a way to automatically have the audio screen change to the navigation screen when it is giving directions or when I am getting close to a change. Either total screen or split screen. Then switch back.

I know the navigation will give the change audibly when I am on the audio screen and that I can manually change the screens.

I believe the default screen is the map screen. The car will go to audio for a brief time and then switch back to map automatically.

With such a tiny screen, would split screen be worthwhile? I don't think it's possible.

Yes, setting in map screen lets you choose to have audio on right half of screen. When near a turn, audio might disappear but will come back. Choose Map Mode.

That is only true on the 7" system that you have. OP has the 6.1 inch. Split screen is not possible on his 6.1 on the 2012 -2015 Prius Three (and Four without solar roof).

OP - when you are close to an area where you need to see the map ( upcoming turn) you can hit the voice activation button on the left lower side of the steering wheel and say "show map", without taking your hands off the wheel. That will bring up the map screen. After the turn, you can push audio at the bottom left of the head unit to get your song info back.
