Question about adding an aftermarket antenna

    Do all Prii have a satellite radio antenna
    I am NOT asking if all Prii have satilite radio
    my 2013 Prius does not have satellite radio. i want to add it. i plan to use an "iSimple" product.
    the question is... do i have to use the magnet antenna? or is the nubin antenna installed on my Prius already a satellite antenna?

    2010 - 2011 had the satellite radio antenna standard.
    2012+ had it on the 3, 4, and 5 trims only. I don't believe the 2 had it pre-wired, because from 2012 on, there was no longer a dealer installed accessory for the 2.

    The 2010 Level II did not have a satellite antenna installed factory. Can not speak for higher level trims and the 2011 though.

    Yes it did. See Toyota's own brochure, page 3, for the 2010 Prius. That's why an accessory XM kit was also offered that connected to the existing antenna and head unit.
