correct^^^ if the car is locked, use the mechanical key in the fob to unlock the drivers door and pop the hood.

The jump start procedure is in the Owners Manual. Still:

You have a problem, the battery is "dead", well depleted. Jumpstarting it will get you on your way, but that's all. You'll be back to "dead" battery, in a day or two, or a week. If you want to avoid this, you need to get a smart charger, 3~4 amp range, monitor the voltage with a digital multi meter. And, read up.

It's also a good idea to look into what's draining the battery, minimize the drains, the chances for draining.

With a 2014, it's likely just used up one of it's "lives", and with a bit of care can bounce back.

i'm thinking these days it's easier to type a question than open a book.
later, books will be all obsolete.

I took the car to Holman Toyota to have the battery checked. They came back an hour and a half later after waiting for it and said it checked out good no draining issues it keep it's charge. They said I may have left something on like the interior light without knowing it.The only reason why I took it to the dealership is because the battery is under warranty 3 years or 36,000 miles my car has 25,000 miles on it

So you think I should have a second opinion and have another mechanic other than the dealership check it out ?

Check the voltage with a digital multimeter, after the car's at least sat overnight. If it's 100 % you'll be seeing around 12.6. This is NOT an indepth load test, but a good quick check. 12.5 is so-so, 12.4 less so, 12.3 is signif depletion, and so on.

My 2 cents: anytime you've had significant drain like that you owe the battery a charge session.

I wonder, is the battery warrantied? It's very easy to run it down. Not sure.

unfortunately, only the dealer can make the warranty call. if you want to go to the trouble, ask them what the failure parameters are.
