To all Prius c owners in search of mudflaps: I just registered a product request with WeatherTech to make mudflaps for the Prius c. If they get enough requests, it might happen. Just go to WeatherTech's website and scroll down for 'product request' under customer service heading.

I wonder why Toyota doesn't fill this need for Prius c owners. It would be an additional bit of income for them. I am beginning to wonder if having mudflaps on the Prius c would, in Toyota's opinion, cause a bit of wind drag to the already sensitively fuel minded Prius c such that it would negatively impact gas mileage? I know this is a stretch, but other than that, I just don't understand why ignore the calls for mudflaps. They are selling a huge amount of these cars. They are available for the regular Prius and the Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon), why not Prius c?

Hold off for a while, see how it goes without them?

Our (reg) Prius is the first vehicle, in about 35 years on the road, without mud flaps. No problems. And no having to deal with the inevitable crud that collects between mud flap and body.
