    (EDIT:
Mod's ... sorry, I meant to post this in Prius/Hybrid/EV/Alt fuel News - Please relocate, because forum slot relocation isn't possible via editing)

According to this - at around 10:39, yes.

I noted this video came not too long before Bob Lutz went on another of his rants against Tesla, and thought the timing was awful coincidental. I know stock values come & go ... and at one time even planet Hollywood was rated higher than GM ... so who knows how big Tesla will get before 'big auto' starts to take action.

I've been eyeing the Model S lately, and the Tesla fora are, to say the least, interesting. There's a respected poster there who believes Tesla is still greatly at risk as a going concern (Model S success notwithstanding). He posits that those who buy a Model S should only do so if they can afford for the entire investment to evaporate if Tesla goes belly up. Now, this poster is also one who makes everyone aware of the myriad classic cars, Mercedes, homes, motorcycles, boats and other trappings of excessive wealth he is privileged to, but his words are just a bit too much reminiscent of Marie Antoinette.

Enough to make me not want to join such a club. I'll take his advice and wait to see what happens to Tesla, and if the Model 3 ever becomes reality.

They say "worth" aka company worth, not the sale volumes, profits, etc.

This only highlights that Tesla's stock is overpriced and some other mfg stocks are under-valued.

and I think they must be using US only numbers, since according to Google Finance - Yahoo Finance - MSN Money Mazda x50 times bigger
Correction: Mazda numbers are likely to be in Yen so this would make Tesla bigger company.

if you compare these 2 companies Mazda sells x10 of Tesla in US alone.

I'd say when Model 3 comes out and hype gets to the top there will be good time to short it.

Tesla has the Gigafactory too, so it is not just a car company.
I have no idea where that company is headed, but there sure is a LOT of room for huge stock value swings in either direction. If I was a gambling type I would probably buy cheap options to profit from major swings in either direction.

I would love to put my hands on several Power Walls for my personal use.... Any scratch and dents around there?

I agree with your agreement. And undoubtedly, once the next market bubble comes crashing in - that implosion will leave the wealthiest, even more wealthy ... ready to swoop in and buy more Teslas.
