    Well. IF, IF that is the G4 .... it doesn't "knock my socks off."

    But endeavoring to be positive, if you like the G3 you will like the G4. The front end is head and shoulders better than the "v."
    It's a winner. Not a, knock out of the park.
    Visually, however, my sense is the tail lights are too small. Not in lumens, but is scale.

    So, the profile will continue. I find no fault with that. What will motivate me to get the check book out? It will be up to the ride, quietness, fuel efficiency and interior materials.

    And finally, if that is "sporty?" and "appealing to youth,?" Then I am feeling my age.

    hmm, this one is different from the Thailand one. The brake lights are in different areas. The Thailand one has lights lower down (about midway) whereas this one has it high up where the Prius typically has it. That's all I can see so far.

    On that webpage (autonet.tw), the blue/green images don't match the white one at the bottom. The white one has a roof peak over the rear passengers while the blue and green images have the peak over the front passenger/driver. There's inconsistencies in the reporting there.

    They are really building a prius with a mustache? And it looks like a rear grill with teeth? What? I don't know which is less appealing, Mirai or that depiction of the 4th gen.

    Try Chinese --> English :) (.com.tw is Taiwan and they speak mandarin there)

    Good catch. Even the two green photos have different mirror mounting points. Photoshop?

    It's not likely but it's a possibility.

    Regional differences between the Thailand spyshot and the Detroit spyshot? That might explain the taillights. (e.g. the US Camry and Corolla have different grilles and lights compared to the Asian and European models).

    A little longer and wider. MG2 is 90 hp, up from 80hp.

    I think it is more stylish. The wheels are nice. Definitely 17", maybe 18".

    Really? 50 km(31 mile) ev range and 40 km per liter of gas? No way! that would be "Ultimate Dream Car"

    My guess would be PiP2 comes in the green style and regular comes in Blue.

    Edit: It is the other way around! The blue one had Plug-In HSD badge. Blue one also has 4 LED headlights where the green has one (halogen?).

    Notice, the system peak power is 145-150 hp.

    The regular Prius maybe rated 145 hp. That's 11hp more than Gen3. ICE makes 7hp more so HV battery has to make 4hp more.

    Likely, PiP2 peak power is 150hp with bigger battery.

    The article referred to it as THS III. Gen3 system was still called THS II but with speed reduction unit.

    I can't wait to find out what's different with THS III.

    BTW, I can't find the gas door on either sides.

    How do we know there's no charging door? There's a flap on the passenger side of the Detroit spyshot and another flap on the driver's side (left-hand drive) on the Thai spyshot.

    Assuming nothing's changed, then the Thai spyshot is probably the regular Prius since the fuel door has been on the driver's side. As for the Detroit one, it could be a PiP spyshot or it could be a regular Prius. The presence of the flap in the spyshot doesn't necessarily mean the fuel door or charging door is on the passenger side.

    Also, @usbseawolf2000, you still need a charging door even with wireless charging. PiP owners still need a way to charge from public charging stations.
