When I got my car a week or so ago, I also got a Tire & Wheel Protection package for $595 (see the informational brochure here), but I am not sure if the package is really worth the money (I am still in the 30 day cancellation period, so I can still cancel it). Does anyone have experience with it? Do you guys think it's worth the money? Thanks!

I knew at the time of purchase. I was undecided but ended up getting it because I knew I would be able to cancel it within 30 days.

True. 9/10 times it's a waste of money to buy any kind of extended warranties; cars or otherwise. Just another way for them to make extra money. I never got extended warranties on any vehicles I've ever owned; or anything else for that matter. If you do your research and buy quality, you should have no problems. I remember when I was buying the Prius. The lady who was in charge of offering (pushing) the extended warranties sat down, looked at the paperwork; said "oh, a Prius. I'm sure I don't want the warranty but we're obligated to explain what it covers and offer it anyway". She thanked me for listening to her pitch and left. ;) So yeah, just be sure to cancel before that 30 days is up.

Still, there's something fundamentally infuriating, when someone insists on completing a schpiel, when they know there's no chance. And it's pretty much your last impression of the dealership, tends to last.

I would not buy it or any type of extended warranty.
