Lol, I know Joe, it's tough with a toddler and a 1 year old. Family comes first, however I finally found some time late at night with all the tools.

I did the front Coilovers and it took me 4 hours just making sure I was doing everything right. Will have to finish the rear later this afternoon. Here are a few shots. I lowered it to about 1 and a half fingers gap space in the wheel wheel. I spent a lot of time measuring and comparing OEM to stock lol.

Sorry for the cruddy pics, it's 5am and I'm sleepy haha. I'll put the new wheels on later.

After getting the OGS push button shifter, I didn't like the nighttime 'always on' single LED light in the ceiling console. It produced a glare off of the shifter that I found irritating. With some simple soldering skills, it is pretty easy mod. I found the two closest solder points on either side of the LED module, then used a dremel to sever the trace on the board between them. I had originally planned to run the wires down to an empty switch plate down near my knee, but decided against it when I found room to mount the switch right next to the light.

I removed the $tealer/Dealer logo from the derrière without a scuff to the Barcelona finish. A small thing to start with perhaps but it was causing me anxiety to have my vehicle serve as an advertisement.

While I was modding the LED light (see previous page) I noticed that there was some usable empty space in the area between the sunglass holder and the windshield. I had been having an issue with my so-called "permanent" radar detector mount staying adhered to the windshield. This empty space seemed perfect for said radar detector, so I went to work. I had to dis-assemble the radar detector in order for it to fit within the space available. With my handy dremel tool, a few hours, and lots of patience, I made it fit (and made it look good!). I had to cut a square out of the front of the panel to allow the detector to protrude through the front, then re-used the panel I had cut out to cover the exposed circuit board. If you notice that the screws on the board change, good eye. I had replace the original screws with some from an old laptop because the heads had a slimmer profile.

FYI, it's an Escort SmartRadar. It does not have a display on the unit, which made this possible. It connects bluetooth to my phone, and has an external display as well. The last picture shows where the external display is mounted to the right of the phone.

Nice job! I used that same spot for a Homelink door opener module.

Nice one bro. If it was me I might have just plug in an earplugs or some playdough to that little hole.

I would have first tried to install a filter to "soften" the light coming from the LED.

Nice. I've got the same OEM wheels. Was tempted to change them out also but wanted to stick with the lower weight. Those new ones look sharp though. Was wondering where you got your tail lights. Looking to maybe change the OEM ones out in the Gen III I have.

Your came with the white plastic connector and black connector on the side? When I got it from twptrade.com my did not come with it. I had to move from old tail light over.

    Good video on install
