    Hey Everyone,

Just got a new (to me) 14' Prius and I'm really liking the car and have learned a lot already from this forum. Thanks! I inherited a small dent in the front lip. I was wondering if it's cheaper to replace it or have an autobody shop repair it, or if anyone has tried popping dents out themselves?

    Thanks

That's a good question.. The lip is plastic so not sure how that would get repaired.

If I remember I'll ask my neighbor who owns an autobody shop what he thinks later today and get back to you.

Nobody can see that thing but you......it's too low to the ground. You can try compress air and a heat gun

yeah it is minor, just that the car is in pretty mint condition other then this dent so it kind of bugs me :) Thanks for the idea, i'll look into it.

For the plastic bumper, use a heat gun. You'll have to remove the bumper and apply the heat from behind the bumper, not the front (paint side). There are a few YouTube videos on this that I've seen.
