    Is that a film/tint on the head lights, an aftermarket set of head lights or did you take them off, bake them and paint yourself? Looking to do something similar; was curious as to what you did.

    I painted them while doing a retro!
    Pros- it's a $8 investment, you can paint it how you want and the list goes on.
    Cons- if you don't seal them correctly they will fog up.... That's about it.

    Yeah, I'd seen the thread and link to the step by step procedure to take them apart, bake them, paint them. Looks like LOTS of work. But much cheaper I'm sure than actually buying some from the Japan sites; Yahoo Japan and others. Might pick up a cheap spare set of head lights, bake them, paint them and change them out. That way I'll still have the originals in case I want to go back to the original look or if I sell, the new owner will have a set of clear head lights. Went with a dark tint, black plasti-dip on ALL the exterior emblems, black wheels, black center caps, etc. Thinking of plasti-dipping the tail lights also. I like the look of all black or winter grey metallic for the exterior. No tacky, shiny emblems!! Dark head lights would complete the look.
