Hi everyone, I Need some help and/or advice with a headlight issue please. Yes, I've tried searching but can't find anything like my problem.

I've got a 2007 Prius Touring. When I turn on my headlights the drivers side comes on for about 1/2 second and then immediately goes out. It does this if I have the high beams or low beams on when I turn on the switch.

I'm thinking circuit breaker. I have no idea where it would be located OR maybe it's something else???? Honestly, I have no other idea what else it could be. Do you???

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks!

the ballast on the hid bulb is bad, or it could be just the bulb, but most likely the ballast. switch them side to side and see what happens.

I am assuming that you have HID bulbs (you do if you have foglights). The most likely culprit is a bad bulb. There are plenty of You Tube videos online to help you do this. Be careful when ordering a replacement bulb. Stick to a quality bulb (Phillips). I believe that the replacement bulb for your vehicle is a D4R.
