    Could be worse.

You can't load up a 7 passenger Dodge Caravan with 7 average weight people cause it'll go over the cargo weight limit. I'm guessing Chrysler was planning on most of the passengers being of smaller stature.

Really? I guess that makes sense kinda as most load kids in the back but I see how it could be a problem if you bough it for people hauling purposes.

And my last post was in jest. Lol. :p

Well it reminded me of an automotive editorial I read about how the cargo carrying limit for vehicles nowadays are a bit on the low side and the example they gave was the Caravan which is designed (or supposed to be designed) to carry 7 people and it was already overladen before you added any cargo.

My 2015 Persona now sags about 2inches after transporting about 850lbs of people (5 adults).

zombie thread, but still worth mentioning.
Same 2" with my 220 weight & 660 lbs of junk (surplus cell site 240v inverter/backup + its batteries). 900lbs total. It's NOT the suspension you need to worry about .... & it's not the inverter overheating pulling a grade on a warm or hot day. No. It's the lack of braking you'll have. ESPECIALLY downhill. Go slow if you need to do this.
