These were posted on the site earlier. Re-instating the thread since everyone and their mother appears to have broken embargo at this point.

What for? I haven't carried change for five years or so, and I haven't missed it once.

I'm hoping the changes are at least bigger than what would fit in a small change holder drawer.

:)I only like the front from the front. All down hill from there. My 2012 Prius PIP will continue to serve me well.

I "kinda" like it so far, better front and side than rear. But that white console!!!! Please no.

Um, what is so bad about that 2nd photo in original post here?

I think it looks great from that angle which includes the black plastic behind the rear side window and the double character lines by the taillights.

Would be cool if they have a Lane Watch camera in passenger side view mirror like in Accord and Civics. Very useful feature.

Be a great thread once everyone has had a chance to see it in person, and sit in it. Do you think it has Ecoboost power under the hood? LOL

Generally speaking, it's a nicer looking car.

If someone's looking at a lane-watch camera, they're distracted, like looking at a text message, and not looking forward. If you can see forward, you know what you're about to hit.

Nope, nope. Lane Watch is a wide angle day - night camera in the passenger side view mirror that gives a HUGE right view in info screen dash so driver CAN see what is happening on right side and BLIND SPOT of car WHILE looking forward.

Let's leave it at that since it doesn't seem to be a Toyota feature.

Got mixed feelings, until i see in person, is only then my perspective may change.

The exteiror at some angles it looks good then at another angle it looks weird and off, and the interior is a mix between the 2nd gen and 3 gen but it looks...cheap/dull designed, not as nice as the Gen 3 design, hopefully they traded the blah design for better creak free material (ie soft dashboard)

Kinda sad that we lose seperate Power and Eco button, insted we get this one direction selection. It is good to have that Power button separate, almost like turning WEP in an WW2 airplane when things gets dicey..

I like the exterior, but am kinda disappointed with the dash, looks kinda cheap, and really miss seeing the flying bridge.

I like it. Gonna reserve final judgement until I see it in person. Not in love with the interior yet. Hoping this Prius has AWD. If not probably going to look at buying the sienna. Need all wheel drive and more room. But was hoping I could get this instead if it has AWD.

I think the car would look better in person as there are 3D aspects not prominent in photos. Also I think there would be technical reasons behind the styling. So far so good. I'm not keen on the internal white plastic trim - maybe there will be aftermarket trims to change it.

Actually, the reveal was not very informative, we still don't know the specs other than 10% improvement to mpg.

I am beginning to think this is a clever bit of Marketing that Toyota has done. Basically, they know that there will be a flood of negative reviews focused on the looks so they have scheduled the actual reveal a couple of weeks later so the waters will be calm by the time they reveal the numbers behind this car which is expected to be very good.

BTW there is no mention of AWD in the press release. I guess that is not going to happen in Gen4.

"Available premium white ornamentation in the lower sections of the cabin is reminiscent of fine bone china."

YAY!, that means we can get it without. Hopefully
