    Hello

I'm having an issue on my remotes (2) I recently try and lock the doors with both remotes and sometimes it does not respond. I changed the battery 2 days ago and still having the issue. I will have to hit the remote 5 times next to drivers door to lock sometimes. Other times it's fine. What you think I should try next? Adam Prius gen 3 base 2013

Were you having this problem BEFORE you changed the battery or only after?
"Still" having this problem makes me think you were having this problem even before changing the battery, which could mean something more serious. Also if it's happening with both.

I really can't offer an easy answer. Is it consistent? Or is it in one place?
There's a parking space, in a restaurant that I frequent that for whatever reason seems to be a spot that catches radio signal interference. It ONLY happens when I park in that area, but I have found that I have to walk nearly right next to the door to get the fob to respond. BUT it's only when parking in this area.

Somehow doubt your problem is this simple, but I can hope. Good Luck.

I assume you have a Prius 2, if so have you just tried locking it by pressing the door handle in the appropriate spot?

Thanks, no issue was before and after I changed the battery. Also happens at home and mostly everywhere. Today was acting weird then other times it does not.

I guess my only offering then would be I believe you should still be under your new car bumper to bumper warranty?
You might want to document the happening and see if the dealership is willing to look into it.
