Well is seems that out of the norm designs will be the next big thing, look at the tail lights on the 2016 Civic! This makes the 2016 Prius look conservative.

Hideous, is a little strong don't you think? Its 2016 almost, cars are being designed to be bold.

Too many angles, plus the Civic seems to be moving up to Accord size
What's next, the Fit moves to Civic size? SMH

Isn't the Fit already bigger than the original Accord?

I remember driving one of the original Accords. They drove very well, the power steering seem to be over boosted. There was very little road feel very smooth and quiet. I like all the gadgets that were in that car. At that time I bought a Volkswagen instead, I got a very good deal on a Dasher of all things. That car drove very well, and it did not have power steering.

My uncle always told me that if a car was well designed it doesn't need power steering. While a truck may need power steering, hydraulic power steering is going away. We all have seen the Advent of electro mechanical power steering, electric power steering on a rack and pinion unit. The good thing is you don't have to worry about power steering fluid running all over the place at high pressure. I believe the Japanese see it as more reliable more dependable less breakdown. Plus it's hard to tell if the car has it or not. Just my thoughts on this car, not sure like the 2016 Honda Civic tail lamps or the trunk lid.

current civic is already bigger than say a 20-year-old accord. nothing new there.
same for current corolla vs. 20-year-old camry.

I was wondering if anyone has seen any option packages for the new Prius? Did all wheel drive make the cut?

I saw one with a full brake light wrap like should have been done with the Prius

Oh wait. Sorry. I didn't realize that was a rendering and not an actual Honda Civic. My bad.

Getting like electronics. Every school is the same, and everyone that graduates must have looked at the same template. Weird is in, but not originality.

This Datsun hybrid appeared almost 50 years ago, long before the Prius!

That was a solid car, don't know if it was a hybrid, and it lasted through a lot of stuff. All those around here rusted out and went to that great recycling yard in the sky. Great photos!

Datsun by Nissan, the name change lost sales. It got so bad they sold part of it to Renault.

Nissan had sales and service in China for medium and large trucks, called UD. So Renault wanted to sell their large trucks in China.

So now, we are seeing a symbiosis of chassis, engine and overall engineering. Nissan is way ahead of most manufacturers when it comes to electric vehicles. And Renault has mamy electric vehicles, sharing Nissan's knowledge.
