    Hi All,

I checked dealership, something more $9 per quarter. Amazon has a better price $34.99 per 4 q. Where do you buy and what price?

PS: I tried Mobil 1 0-w20, but I think on cold engine mpg isn't great anymore. So I decided to use Toyota oil.

    Thanks!

Toyota buys its oil from Mobil one.

I just buy at the Dealership parts counter. If you ask and get to know them they can give you reduced prices. Most have lower prices they use for outside vendors...and can, if they choose, sell to you at (plus tax of course).

Thanks. But even it buys from Mobil, it might be different oil, like a special blend.

Check your dealer's website. Sometimes they will have coupon's online you can print out and get discounts also.

I just buy at our local dealership: $5.63 (Can) per liter. Seems lower than a lotta places tho.

Help us out here with what that would translate to US dollars at the current exchange rate.

Looking through my old invoices, $5.65 was the price in May of 2011. The US and Canadian dollars were virtually at par then.

Thanks everyone for your answers. Too bad Toyota Oil cannot be bought in retailers like Wallmart or others. Dealerships here in SFBA are too greedy. It's not like a big deal pay extra $15, just don't like overpay.

I didn't find dropping mpg with Mobil 1, 0-w20. Only very short trips (1-3 miles) from cold state really degraded.

What is difference between SAE Mobil 1 0-W20 and just Mobil 1 0-W20?
Is SAE is closer to Toyota SAE 0-W20, or it's just a marketing trick?
