Commuted to work in my awesome new ride this morning, it's about 5 miles, and the trip computer tells me it cost me $0.00 to get to work.
    I LOVE IT! Screw OPEC!

Congrats! I'm in the city over so it's great to see another v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon). I get terrible MPG though :(

Is it even possible to get terrible MPG in a Prius? (n):)

On my short commute (5 miles), my MPG has been sucking; but today for the first time, had to shuttle my kid to school first, so with my almost 10 miles from school to work, I got 54 MPG! So, very happy to see that it does actually work as expected, albeit after it's all warmed up and happy.

Yes, short trips kill the mpg. Also, the indicated mpg is always optimistic. :(

Track your mpg on Fuely, and you can compare how you're doing against fellow v owners. ;)
