Oil change - floor jack good enough?

    cause in my opinion the home made stands are a lot safer due to the suspension, its also cheaper and quicker to get the job done. I am wealthy enough to own 2 sets of jack stands and also own 2 prius cars and fixing to buy another Prius

    That got me smiling. Can you picture: "I've got an Olympic size swimming pool in the basement", "Ive got a stable of Maserati's", and now: "I've got 2 sets of jack stands".

    Sorry for bumping this old thread but this made my day.

    The original post could probably be copy pasted on any auto forum and trigger an outright scatstorm. Unsafe to try IRL, unsafe to even bring it up on a car forum
