Will there be a Moonroof offered on the US Version? I don't see any options for one here.

No AWD option mentioned and nothing about battery type.

There was one car with a moonroof at Las Vegas - the black one. It also came with SofTex and a HUD.

Tax is included in the listed price (20% VAT) unlike North America where tax is added afterwards (because of various taxation values across the states/provinces/territories). I don't know what other fees are added but basically 80% of $35k is about $27.5k USD, a bit more than our base model but with added equipment.

    2015 Prius: (65/16 plates)
    T3: £21,995
    T4: £23,745
    T Spirit: £25,295
The Technology Package is £1,750 which includes IPA, DRCC, PCS, LKA, HUD, upgraded LCD and backup camera with guidelines.

    2016 Prius:
    Active: £23,295
    Business Edition: £24,195
    BE Plus: £25,995
    Excel: £27,450

Base price is quite a bit more. I'd say (as an outsider), that the Business Edition or Business Edition Plus is where the value is. The Excel isn't much more than a T Spirit w/ Tech Pack. (~£400)

Lot more equipment everywhere... for instance, old top spec only had cloth, didnt have blind spot monitor, not to mention all the upgrades in tech, screens, TSS P, for about the same price. Now top spec has real leather in UK, that alone used to be $2k-$3k option in Euro Toyotas.

So I think new Prius, for Europe, is priced well with excellent base equipment which has full LED headlights, smart entry, touch screen, 15" alloys, TSS P which includes radar cruise control, auto headlights and pre-crash (and more), etc. Only people who wont be pleased are taxi cab and fleet drivers who got absolute base before.

I sure hope this continues to continental Europe, different in pricing between specs is not that much at all.

i think that really base model already got removed in facelift... in 2009 you could get Prius without media screen and backup camera for instance, but that was changed in 2012 - in Europe of course.

Ditto in the U.S.. The 6.1" Display Audio became standard for 2012.
