I just got my Prius back after several months of it being off the road (red triangle of death... Replacement traction battery) i've had it back for about a week now and I'm having a ball driving it again. I am playing with pulse and glide but even when I don't do that I'm still getting 45+ miles to the gallon, Which of course is still fun in my eight-year-old Prius!

And oh by the way I am currently running my winter tires which of course get poorer mileage than LRR tires

I can only confirm your experience. Do you messure all the car data with a tool like "Torque Pro" using the OBD II data from your Prius?

Well when you're dealing with the ICE running pretty much constantly it is sure nice to see normal numbers.

I'm very pleased with Greentech's service, the battery is spot on working great! I went ahead and replaced the 12v as well. It's like having a good running 8 yr old car again!

No I'm happy using the mfd, even with the optimistic readings of the mfd computer. I've got a 30 mile per day commute which with other errands equals a week and a half or so per tank. I also am filling up as soon as I see one pip. I probably could get a bit more range, if I wanted to squeeze every last mile.

The MFD is optimistic by about 3% to 5% in my opinion, that is ok for me.
I fill up before a longer journey even when the tank is half fulle, or when the last pip begins to flash. Thankfully my daily commute is only about 20 miles and I fill up my tank about 2 to 4 times a month.

For the most part I'm finding the MFD a little optimistic as well but I have had a few tanks where it has gone the other way. I think it's probably because of the flexible bladder in the tank.. Over multiple tanks it all evens out so I don't let any individual tank bother me too much.

I just keep a little notebook in the glove compartment and track it online at fuelly. I've been playing around with a few apps to track fuel and repairs on my phone. Right now I'm comparing FillUp and My Cars for Android. Any others out there worth a look?

I'm using Evernote to track my data, not a dedicated app, but I already use it, and there is a desktop version so it is simple to back up data/share with the computer if I needed to do so

I'm glad the batteries worked out.
