    4G Prius Features & Specifications (2016-?) | PriusChat
There are PDFs and Excel versions

2017-05-23 :: Prius One added. Toyota added this version to the line-up starting April, 2017.
2017-08-05 :: 2017.5 models add BSM, RCTA, ICS, S-IPA as standard equip. to all models except Prius One. Approx. available from May 2017

My personal preference is to have information displayed visually and, ideally, as simply as possible. So I've taken the information posted by Danny and put it into a series of tables. I would have done something like this for myself anyway but figured that perhaps others would find it beneficial.

It appears Toyota has continued to make The Prius a well equipped vehicle across all trim levels.

Back to numbers: so Two gets 56MPG and Two ECO and above are 52, am I reading this correctly?

That was my transposing mistake. I've corrected it. The Prius Two ECO gets the higher Mileage.

Thanks! nice to know I am not the only one with dyslexia ;)

I read in some review that ECO has some other features like LowE (IR blocking) windshield which is not listed in tables above.

Also is there enough space to put full/doughnut spare on models which come w/o one? It would be a deal breaker for me if you can't optioned it.

I think the full-sized spare question came up after the Vegas show. I know we took pictures of it but we'll have to wait until someone has one for real to see if a full-sized spare will fit.

I haven't seen anything about LowE windshield. Once I see something official, I'll add it to the list.

So that basically means they have only achieved 10% improvement in mpg and that too only in Eco version. Completely misleading information in Toyota eu pressroom about an 18% improvement. All this plus polarising design and no 4wd - definitely not what I had been waiting for the past few years. And the most alarming bit of hidden info in the table is that Gen 4 seem to be extra sensitive to the slightest weight fluctuations. What that will mean is that with a full family in, it will be difficult to achieve these numbers. Can't see why Gen 3 owners would be excited about really, maybe the Gen2 crowd might see value in upgrading.

I wouldn't get too torn up re mileage claims. They are government numbers. I too find it difficult to believe that adding 65 lbs to a car will decrease its mileage that much. I suspect it's a function of the testing methods. Otherwise I'm going on a diet!! ;)

And how in the world does the 4 touring get a flat hatch floor without a spare when the 4 without a spare does not have a flat hatch floor?

My mistake. Fixed now. They were both accurately reflecting the larger cargo space.

So, all the threes and above have the disgusting white trim?

And ATP get a sun roof and the dumb wireless charger?

Geeze...it's like they're trying not to sell any.

I want cloth seats, radar cruise, collision avoidance, no sun roof, no wireless charging, a HUD, a Homelink mirror, the most adjustable front seats on both sides, and the best sounding stereo.

    Oh...and E-Four.

In the Prius Eco grade, heat-insulating IR-cut windshield glass substantially reduces transmission of infrared rays to help ensure a comfortable cabin, especially in the summer. It also reduces the air conditioning system workload, which helps to save fuel.

No ATP. But TSS-P is standard on all Touring grades.

thanks! surprisingly, the engine is little changed (mostly revised intake and EGR) to improve efficiency at the expense of minimal power loss.
