Busy Thanksgiving break of modding. I'm happy to report that I'm done for a while, prob 'til January, but only because I'll be out of country until then so my baby will rest unmolested for at least a month. Then the modding mayhem will resume w/ parts from Japan!!

When I left off earlier in the week, I was in the process of slapping my WORK wheels back on after having them re-barrelled & painted. I used ARP Wheel Studs and Muteki Locks & Lugs to fasten them.

Next up was the custom MGP caliper covers w/ Hybrid logo on Matte Black Finish. A couple shots of them mounted on either side so you can see how they look. The matte black finish helps to mute the appearance, but it provides a nice finishing touch imo. They look sick when the car is in motion on the freeway at high speed. Purchased these from CAR.ID and turn-around was about 2.5 wks.

After the caliper covers I moved onto my rear mudflaps. I already had the low-profile US version of mudflaps on the car but after placing the bigger wheels in the rear, I wanted to also place a bigger mudflap to compliment it so I went with the larger Euro version mudflaps while keeping the low profile US version mudflap in the front.

Below you'll see the HUGE difference in size between the US & Euro versions. The first pic showcasing both depicts the rear US & Euro version. The following pics show one side with the US mounted version (driver side) and the other with the Euro version (passenger side).
I now have the large Euro flaps in the back, the low profile US flaps in the front. These were purchased here on the PriusChat Shop. About 1.5 wks to delivery.

That same day I also installed my Carbon Fiber AeroJacket Side Diffusers. Thank You to members Burna J and Accordlayingkit for paving the way and providing info on these to influence my decision. I have to admit, these specifically are the one mod the past week (aside from wheels & rubber) that really set it off for me.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM and they REALLY tie the sporty theme of my car together from the recently added front lip & mesh grills to the back of the car. Alongside the aggressive wheels and fat Michelin rubber in the rear, it has this chubby, meaty stance and feel - I LOVE IT.

I tracked down the maker for these online (based in Torrance) and they took less than 1 week for production. I picked up locally to save on shipping and install was a breeze once I determined how much of the diffuser I wanted to showcase (less vs more showing). Install was about 45 minutes with my jack & power drill.

The following day, some new parts arrived including my Prius Plus floor mats and my engine compartment covers. I like how the Pri-Plus floor mats provide a contrast in the interior now between the black and light colored grey. Just need my Ultimate Pedals to arrive to complete the interior!!

After a lengthy install on the floor mats, I headed over to my pri-chat buddy saulbassfan's house to finish up in La Puente Saturday. He was kind enough to pick-up some parts from Japan for me recently including my start, stop push-button mod, a rear wiper-delete hole-filler, and some upgraded horns so I can honk like a man!!

Upon completion of the wiper delete & shark fin mods, we finished off some amazing Japanese whisky, washed our sexy whips and snapped a few shots at the local country club. Great day and way to end a week of modding.

That is interesting. You got your shark fin pointed reverse. Is there a reason for that?

Perhaps too much Japanese Whisky for saulbassfan & I that day??:confused:

Kidding!!! We actually did that on purpose, just for you guys here as a joke to see if anyone would catch it. LOL :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It's actually not mounted (still) - Ran out of time that day and haven't mounted it yet. We thought it'd be fun to slap it on backwards in the pics for our PriusChat fam & see if anyone would call attention to it.

WHEN, it does officially get mounted, I promise to mount it like I've got some sense!! (y)

Haven't been on here for a while now because of work and family but I'm just happy that I was able to finally clean my car over the weekend.

Sup fellas. Rather than start a new thread I'll just ask here...

My wife is asking what I want for Christmas, and I would like a floor jack. I've been looking at this one since it has a nice case to hold the jack and stands. I don't have a garage so this is definitely a plus for me. I'm wondering if this jack will fit underneath my Prius. I'm currently on Tein H-Techs. Any insight on this?

I wouldn't.....even if it does fit. Looks too small for my liking.

I have a very simple and basic setup and is definitely not for shows or anything like that. Obviously, my main goal is to be able to drive at any height I want to. It all started a couple months ago when I replaced all 4 of my tires at discount tires and the guy messed up my bumper trying to get my car on the lift. My car was on Tein coilovers at the lowest setting and because of what happened I started to figure out how I can go on air.

The tank, compressors and and Airlift manifold are all mounted in my spare tire well.

    Air Bags: Universal Air
Compressors: Two 444C Viair with Airlift Compressor Isolator kit (helps reduce vibration and noise)
    Tank: 4 Gallon
    Management: Airlift Autopilot V2
    Installation: Air Ride Equipment

I've been on Air for a couple weeks now and I love it. The fact that you can adjust ride height with a press of a button is huge. Now I don't have to worry about scraping or when my wife needs to drive my car. It's truly the best of both worlds!

How much u got invested in it if ya don't mind me asking? I want air so bad but I keep hearing figures of $3k/$4k. U do all the install yourself? Looks good keep up the good work!
