Prius Impossible! That's their tagline for the 4G? That's funny. (sorry, used Google Translate) Those with the 3G Prius will understand. I don't even know why this is a "new" feature. For those with a Prius Two or Two Eco, here's an accessory to dress up the console. It's black with metallic flakes and a leather-lined tray \ Those with a Three or higher, if you want to protect the Qi Wireless tray (or you won't use it at all), here's just the leather tray cover on its own Touring wheel insert colour options: Black Gold Blue/Silver Blue/Black If you're really so inclined, fake exhausts Reflective door decal (resin/acrylic). That dash mounted light strip that changes colour, which I first noticed on the Drive Event videos from Fuji Speedway, is being marketed as an "Original Accessory" in Japan.
It takes less than two weeks for the Ro - Ros to cross the Pacific; so, it should go on sale in California as early as before Christmas.
Just because they arrive doesn't mean they magically appear at the dealer. Its not like they are unloaded from the boat directly onto a truck.
I think they are pretty efficient at the harbor, and once the boat makes it there, it doesn't take more than a few days for the cars to reach the local dealers. It doesn't really take long to unload a Ro - Ro. With a Ro - Ro (such as in the pictures below), all you need is some drivers.
I hope they don't take too long to install whatever they have to install at the ports. TLS by snipercoder posted Dec 9, 2015 at 9:37 PM Accessories by snipercoder posted Dec 9, 2015 at 9:37 PM
I am a purist in that sense that I really hate when they install all these useless accessories that spoil the car. Just give me what comes from the factory. They had also lost the original tire valve caps when I bought a Toyota a few years back. I took out caps from another car in the dealer lot.
This last picture is all Mazda 3's not Toyota's. It takes about a 5 to 6 weeks for cars to cross the ocean, go thru the port, and be delivered to the dealer.
Yes... and in an earlier thread, my dealership said they would not be at Midwest dealers until Early February.
it only takes 24 hours to unload the ship and document the new cars. i think it's about 3 weeks to cali, and 4 to the east coast. definitely makes a difference how far the dealer is from port. they only come a few at a time on the truck. between a few days and 2 weeks iirc. i forget how long it took to get the special order pips from japan to the dealer, about 4-6 weeks i think. but it was agonizing, i remember that.
Maybe we do a poll of new owners asking their purchase date and door sticker date. It would be nice to have some data.
Yeah, so I'm kind of doubting that they will be on sale before Christmas in California, and would still take 5-6 weeks to get to the Midwest dealers. I'm basing this on the information I received from the dealer that they would not arrive till "Sometime in February"
The dealer I called in Salem, Oregon said they will have the new model in by the middle to end of December.
